Enthusiasm and ecstasy filled the auditorium as the choir thrilled the members to soothing, melodious and contemporary songs at the ICA 30th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
The members’ expectations of the anniversary were thrown in high gear as the choir performed the best songs of the modern day and left the members dancing all throughout. “I wasn’t really expecting this atmosphere and joy but I’ve really enjoyed the anniversary and I’m looking forward to next year’s one”, a member recounted.
The Filipino Fellowship also aroused the appetite of the members with their choreographed dance and calculated body movements that left everyone clapping and cheering them on.
Diana, the Gypsy dancer, was another spectacular sight to watch. With a gradual speed-up of the music and movements as she reached the climax, her hand was wide open in a wavy-like pattern that went along with the wide skirt swings, and carefully shoulder shakes that were in sink with the patting of the knees and floor work. The members were fascinated about the flexibility of her body in all directions to the tune of the music.
The children’s ministry wasn’t left out of the celebration. The children sang the heavenly song that shook the auditorium. As the Bible said in Luke 18:16 “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God”.
